A web based skill tool for the wood technology branch in the EU
The main objective of the DEWEBAS tool
The DEWEBAS data base can contribute to improving transparency; quality and transfer of credit in the European furniture industry's existing vocational education systems. The data base tools can also form part of the lifelong learning process for the employees, and it is a way to show the worth of the smaller educational fields, which are about to close because of lacking formal and informal competences online pharmacy viagra.
Description of the data base tool
DEWEBAS is based on a uniform registration in a database of the necessary VET part competences, which are contained in all wood and furniture education in the pilot project's participating countries. The pilot project contains education covering the spectrum from wood processing in a company to the final apprenticeships within furniture production (The VET-educations for: Upholsterer, Wood machinist; Cabinetmaker, Joiner). It is possible to make a direct comparison between skills and competences, obtained in each single country's systems of vocational or supplementary training.
DEWEBAS is a web-based tool, which can be used by employers, organisations, ministries, schools and single persons, who wish to take work in other EU-countries or wish to do practice in another country online pharmacy viagra. The tool can register different kinds of skills: both necessary basic skills for a certain education and informal competences such as technical competences, where you cannot document any formal examination, and personal competences, which are achieved cheap viagra. The EFBWW (the European Federation of Building and Wood Workers) on the employee side, work together with authorities from ministries of education and the participating enterprises involved test the product and disseminate the results to other enterprises, vocational schools/colleges and stakeholders and other relevant actors in all EU-countries.
